From public transit, to hybrid and biodiesel coaches, to greener limousines, meeting organizers have access to a growing range of sustainable transportation services. This session will look at the options that are taking shape and the steps that the most committed destinations are taking to encourage them.

By attending this session participants will learn to:
• Identify the methods of encouraging conference participants to use transit passes and other public transportation options
• Compare and contrast hybrid vehicles, biodiesel, and other sustainable options available from bus and limousine companies
• Recognize municipalities that have led the way by encouraging green transportation, introducing anti-idling bylaws, or taking other steps that can be adopted by destinations that hope to build a reputation for sustainable meetings
