If you are doing the type of event where exhibits or exhibit production and services are a major component, then your General Services Contractor should be a key part of your event team. So, the question is, how do you find and work with a General Services Contractor that has the same sustainability goals and objectives for your event as you do, and how do you make sure that you can get the types of reports you need from your GSC that allows you to make the kinds of claims you want to make for a green meeting?
In this workshop session participants will learn and engage in a discussion of all of the areas covered by the General Services Contractor at an event, how to team with your GSC for success and how to write a comprehensive RFP for overall Exhibit Production that aligns with your green goals.
By attending this session participants will learn to:
• Develop an RFP and comprehensive set of questions and requirements for a General Services Contractor
• Identify new technologies you can use in conjunction with the GSC to better manage resources and reduce waste
• Compare and contrast implications of a standard booth design
