More Info

GMIC has teamed up with Mission Wear for this year’s Community Service Project. Started in 2006 by Beth McWhirter, Mission Wear is a non-profit organization that provides reusable grocery bags made from donated fabric, denim, vinyl banners and burlap coffee bags by women who are in recovery.

At this year’s GMIC conference, GMIC attendees will work side by side with the Mission Wear team to cut these banners so that they can be sewn into reusable bags. The Colorado Convention center is donating left over vinyl banners from conventions. (Limit 30 participants).
